About The Role
The Assistant Brand Manager (Garden of Life) at Nestlé Health Science plays a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of brand strategies and marketing initiatives. This position involves analyzing business performance, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and operational excellence. The ABM collaborates closely with departments such as Sales, Finance, R&D, Regulatory, and Consumer Insights, gaining exposure to various facets of brand management including innovation, renovation, and go-to-market execution.
The role requires a proactive individual capable of supporting strategic planning, executing marketing programs, and tracking performance metrics. The ABM will assist in developing annual brand plans, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the successful delivery of marketing assets. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to brand growth within a dynamic, global environment while gaining comprehensive experience in brand management and marketing operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in brand marketing or related field
- Experience within the branded consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with syndicated data tools such as IRI or Nielsen
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Interest in health and wellness is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Responsibilities
- Support the development of annual brand plans and long-term strategic initiatives aligned with company goals
- Analyze brand and category performance using syndicated data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth
- Monitor competitive landscape and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions
- Lead and facilitate monthly business reviews and performance tracking sessions
- Manage brand budgets, including purchase orders, invoice tracking, and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate P&L management and forecasting
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional programs, including coupons and financial deliverables
- Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, shopper marketing, and promotional channels
- Support packaging updates, new product launches, and lifecycle management initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets and product launches
- Serve as a liaison between Marketing and internal teams such as Sales, Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, and R&D
- Assist in customer marketing initiatives and develop sales communication materials
- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing strategies effectively
