We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. We are looking for an employee with optical experience who has an eye for detail and the ability to work fast and efficiently to join our team. The Quality Control Inspector has the responsibility to check all the optical and cosmetic properties that are pertinent for the customer prescription that is prescribed.
2 years of optical experience and thorough knowledge in the use of a lensometer.
The shift is Monday – Friday, from 2:45 pm – 11:15 pm.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of how to use and read a lensometer.
Check the prescription in its entirety including but not limited to the power, the pupillary distance, and the seg. height if applicable
Check for any defects in the frame and correct as needed.
Check the ophthalmic lenses for any scratches, cosmetic defects, abnormal thicknesses, correct material type, etc. to make sure eyewear meets all details ordered with the prescription eyewear.
