Business Unit Quality Director – Fire Suppression Products Jobs in Marinette, WI at Johnson Controls
Summary: Quality control personnel are responsible to test concrete and aggregate (sand/stone) materials, gather data and coordinate construction material specifications and schedules.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
Using ACI practices, tests construction materials such as but not limited to concrete, aggregate and asphalt. Some tests performed may be air, slump, temperature, moisture, etc.
Coordinates with operations department on scheduling and data reporting.
Facilitates the safe coordination of trucks on site and in yard.
May travel to plants or jobsites.
Batch concrete at plant.
projects – helping around the yard as needed.
Work with in all safety procedures.
Comply with all company policies.

Qualifications
: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and Experience: Six months – One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills : Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
