Job Description
The manufacturing plant in Claremont, NC offers day and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO
14001 EMS guidelines. - Maintain awareness of safety procedures and keep work areas safe and orderly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, lead person, or management.
- Capable of lifting or moving 50 lbs. and occasionally 75 lbs.
- Distinguish colors as required.
- Complete proper documentation (tags, logbooks, material return tags, labor entries) in the computer system.
- Work with minimal supervision, following written instructions and schedules.
Qualifications
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
Experience
- Some manufacturing experience preferred.
- Complete on‑the‑job training for the specific job classification in a timely manner.
Skills & Attributes
- Work independently following verbal and written instructions.
- Learn basic computer transactions and inputs; become a certified SAP user if needed.
- Possess basic math and communication skills; maintain proficiency in required job skills.
- Lifting or moving 50 lbs. and occasionally 75 lbs.
- Distinguish different colors.
