Role Summary
The QA Inspector is the last set of eyes on every cart before it ships, and the reason Falcon Standard’s name on a repair means something. Nobody — including the inspector — gets punished for catching a problem; that’s the system working as intended.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform final inspection on every repaired cart before it leaves the supercell: hinges, latches, plastic panels and label holders, caster function (directional-lock and brake pedals, smooth wheel rotation, straight rig), door and frame condition, and fold-down and re-nest function.
- Confirm the repair form was completed in full and every fail-safe step was actually done — inbound scan, supercell scan, beacon and barcode scan, QA, outbound. A skipped step means the cart is stuck, not shipped.
- Verify the base plate fiducial ID scan is valid and unique to that cart. This is a critical check: one mis-scanned or reused fiducial can silently corrupt records on thousands of carts, and has triggered a full site shutdown at another vendor when automated outbound docks couldn’t match carts to valid records.
- Route failed carts back to the technician who repaired them — this creates the per-technician rework data that keeps quality improving instead of repeating the same miss.
- Confirm carts are nested, not built, before they move to outbound staging.
- Flag any pattern of recurring defects to the Site Lead, whether it points to a training gap, a parts issue, or a process gap — and say so even when it’s uncomfortable.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Sharp attention to detail and the mechanical familiarity to know what “right” looks like on a repaired cart.
- Backbone to call it like you see it and hold a line, including with people you work alongside every day.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a drug test and a physical.

Provided by the shop — inspection checklist and a handheld device for scanning and sign-off.
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
