C & J Equipment Manufacturing is a full-service fabrication company established in 1978. We manufacture superior quality equipment by implementing excellence in design and quality control. We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced CWI to join our team in Bloomfield, NM.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect all parts, welds, and/or assemblies for defects
- Examine materials and parts from suppliers
- Ensure all products and/or parts meet compliance specifications
- Provide accurate and detailed reports of inspections to ensure quality standards and process improvement efforts
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of comparable mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience
- Strong working knowledge of QA/QC inspection practices
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and flow charts
- Experience with Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to support the process and procedures for maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
