Duties
:
Perform manufacturing and industry process control audits for clients in the automotive and ancillary industries in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
Use knowledge of, and experience with, industrial manufacturing and process controls in automotive and general industries, to deliver BSI’s audit services to assigned clients.
Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients with respect to the assessment findings and corrective action where appropriate.
Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations.
Lead assessment teams as required.
Coach colleagues and less experienced assessors and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested.
Plan/schedule workloads to make best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in automotive or chemical engineering and 2 years of experience.
Experience must include: industrial manufacturing and supporting process controls in automotive and general industries, and automotive industry process auditing approach.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Certificates required.
80% domestic & international travel for client site visits and training.
May telecommute from any location in continental United States.
Skill set does not need to be maintained for the full term of required experience.
