Overview
The supervisor of CIB Onboarding will oversee the end-to-end counterparty onboarding process, including KYC, product-specific document collection, and hand-off to Front Office, Compliance, Credit and Legal.
Responsibilities
Supervise a team of 6-10 onboarding specialists and QA staff performing counterparty onboarding for CIB USA
Meet with business to conduct workload planning, review status of key onboardings, and prioritize open requests
Work with various stakeholders to help resolve escalated issues
Liaise with various groups, including Legal, Compliance, Credit, and Operations, to remove roadblocks
Provide guidance and oversight to onboarding team with respect to policies, priorities and procedures
Identify and execute process improvements and provide expert support on key process and technology initiatives
Oversee risk-related customer due diligence review process
Education/Experience
5-7 years’ experience in a relevant supervisory/management or operations role within financial services
In-depth knowledge of AML, OFAC, FATCA, and KYC procedures and requirements (CAMS certification a plus)
Expert knowledge of trade lifecycle and investment bank operations and products
Strong process and project management skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and management
Ability to successfully motivate teams to deliver high quality and timely results
Lic/Cert/Reg
Required: 99 OR Series 7, or the ability to obtain within 180 days

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $115,000 to $130,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
