The QA market for AI-generated code is broken. Tools like Lovable, Codex, and Cursor ship apps at unprecedented volume — none of them tested. With QualityMax I have built the platform that closes that gap. The technology is fully shipped and the first integration partners are running it in production today.

For the rollout I am looking for an entrepreneurial business partner who will own the commercial side and turn the active pipeline into signed contracts

QualityMax is an intelligent test automation platform that unifies AI-driven crawling, test generation, execution, and self-healing into a cohesive workflow. Its Discovery Crawler mimics real user interactions, capturing web elements and adapting to modern challenges like SPA detection and bot protection. The platform supports multiple programming languages including Playwright, Python, Java, and Scala, and offers seamless integrations with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Vercel. With its Nexus Crew AI Review System, QualityMax provides comprehensive application insights, including QA, security, performance, and accessibility reviews. Flexible pricing plans, including a free option and an interactive demo with no signup, make QualityMax accessible to teams of all sizes.

Role Description

While I cover the technical side as founder/CEO, I offer you real co-founder equity and the chance to scale a validated business model. The company is operating today as a German
Einzelunternehmer with planned conversion to Delaware C-Corp upon YC acceptance, or a UG/GmbH otherwise.

This is a full-time remote role for a Co-Founder / Sales Lead (m/f/d) at QualityMax. The role involves leading and executing
sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, developing business opportunities, collaborating with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility, and conducting market research to identify new trends and opportunities.

The Co-Founder / Sales Lead will play an integral role in strategizing and driving the platform's growth in the test automation market.

The technology

The software infrastructure is live and includes:

• AI vision crawler — autonomous discovery of any web app's flows, forms, and state transitions

• Test generation across 5 different languages/frameworks (Playwright, k6, Pytest, Golang, Rust)

• Self-healing engine at 85% — semantic retry, locator repair, AI rewrite

• Open-source CLI (qmax-code) on top of Claude Code and OpenAI Codex SDKs — v1.15.2, organic install growth

• Live integrations with Vercel, Lovable, Codex, Claude Desktop (50 MCP tools), GitHub App, n8n

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Marketing skills with experience in driving business development and expanding customer bases
  • Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Advanced Analytical and Research skills to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive advantages
  • Proficiency in strategic planning and leadership to guide the company's growth and navigate challenges
  • Experience in technology-focused startups or SaaS industries is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage remote teams

Your Tasks

  • Marketing & Sales: building the enterprise sales motion,
  • Closing first paid contracts
  • Partner management: converting design partners into expanding contracts and references
  • Scaling: strategic planning and execution of the rollout from the current DACH base to US-wide and broader EU coverage

Your Profile

  • You understand the risks and the life-changing upside of an early-stage startup.
  • You have hands-on mentality and are looking for a long-term entrepreneurial challenge
  • You bring experience in B2B SaaS sales, developer-tools sales, or commercial operations — ideally with carry-and-close history at meaningful deal sizes
  • You can both plan strategically and drive operational execution
  • A network in DACH or Bay Area developer-tools is a strong advantage
  • Berlin or willingness to be there regularly preferred — travel for SF (YC batch if accepted) and DACH enterprise required

• A category-defining bet: AI is generating more code than human history combined and almost none of it is tested. The window to own QA-for-AI is open and short
