Printpack’s manufacturing plant located in Elgin, IL, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Quality Technician position. This position is a 2nd shift position (3pm-11pm) Mon-Fri.
Additional $2.50/hr premium for NIGHT shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.
Key responsibilities:
The QA Technician will monitor the printing, laminating, and slitting processes and advise the manufacturing associates when the process is out of control or outside the acceptable limits.
The QA Technician will record measurements using several types of measuring and recording devices (including but not limited to equipment calibrations, filing retains, inventory, preparation of lab data sheets, and solution preparation)

Minimum requirements:
Previous quality experience required
Communication skills
Basic computer skills
Standing/sitting
Knowledge of production process preferred
Microsoft Excel preferred
Ability to be self-directed and multi-task
Teamwork
