About CAI
Consolidated Aerospace Industries (CAI) is an independent EASA Part-145 approved maintenance organisation providing line maintenance services for commercial aircraft across Europe.
As our network continues to grow, we are expanding our Compliance & Safety team and are looking for a motivated aviation professional to work alongside our Compliance Monitoring and Safety Manager. This role offers the opportunity to become deeply involved in the development of our organisation while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, safety and operational excellence.

About the Role
We are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the operation.
While regulatory compliance is an essential part of the position, we equally value candidates who understand aircraft maintenance from practical experience and who actively look for opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and support our technicians.
Rather than simply identifying findings, we expect our Compliance & Safety team to contribute ideas, challenge existing processes and help drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the organisation’s Compliance Monitoring System in accordance with EASA Part-145 requirements.
- Plan, conduct and coordinate internal compliance audits across maintenance stations and organisational processes.
- Support customer, authority and third-party audits.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis and effectiveness reviews.
- Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate their implementation into company procedures.
- Maintain and update company manuals and controlled documentation, including the MOE.
- Support approvals of new mtce stations, AC types and organisational capabilities.
- Prepare documentation and notifications required by the CAA.
- Support the organisation’s SMS.
- Maintain hazard registers, safety performance indicators and occurrence investigations.
- Participate in safety risk assessments and continuous safety improvement.
- Prepare Safety Review Board and management meeting documentation.
- Coordinate recurrent regulatory training programmes.
- Support personnel competence records, authorisations and compliance documentation.
- Work closely with mtce managers and certifying staff to improve operational performance and regulatory compliance.
Our Compliance and Safety processes are managed using AVIACS, while for the line mtce processes an implementation of a new software is expected. Previous experience with the softwares is not required—full training will be provided.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within an EASA Part-145 mtce organisation.
- Practical AC mtce experience is highly valued.
- Good understanding of line mtce operations and the challenges faced by certifying staff and technicians.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements.
- Experience with Compliance Monitoring, Safety Management Systems or Quality Management is an advantage.
- Experience performing or supporting internal audits is beneficial.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to identify opportunities for improvement and help optimise operational processes.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Slovak or Czech is considered an advantage.
- Candidates must have the right to live and work in the EU.
Working Style
We believe that great Compliance & Safety professionals should spend time understanding the operation—not simply sitting behind a desk.
This position offers a flexible working model. Regular presence at our Bratislava headquarters is expected when operationally required, but there is no expectation to work from the office every day.
Occasional travel to our mtce stations across Europe (or elsewhere) will be part of the role.
