Job Summary:
We are a IAS Accredited Class 1 Special Inspections Agency and AASHTO Accredited NYC DOB Licensed Concrete Testing Lab located in Ronkonkoma, NY. We are currently looking for qualified candidate to perform concrete testing, rebar inspections and soils testing at project locations in Long Island and New York City. In lab testing experience for Soils and Concrete and plus.
Responsibilities:
– Perform rebar inspections and oversee concrete placement
– Perform concrete field-testing including samples
– Perform soils compaction inspections
– Assistant in general day to day activities in testing lab
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of concrete/soils laboratory procedures and quality control
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of quality control and laboratory procedures
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Proficient in laboratory skills and testing techniques
- ACI Certifications for Concrete and Concrete Testing ACI Laboratory Certifications and plus. ICC/NICET Certifications for Soils and Concrete are acceptable
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Materials Science, or related field a plus
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
