$80,000.00/yr – $/yr
Job Title:
Construction (QA) Inspector – Airfield/Roadways Pavement
Work Location:
Anchorage, AK
Salary:
Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager during the interview
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen and pass a federal background review and drug screen
Responsibilities:
Inspect airfield runway construction and pavement resurfacing to ensure workmanship adheres to contract, plans, and specifications
Perform and support three-phase inspection system
Provide detailed daily QA reports
Review and analyze contractor progress
Ensure safety compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA
Monitor submittals using a submittal log
Review design documents, verify as-built drawings, and comment on contractor requests for payment
Review daily reports and project schedules
Maintain site inspection reports
Assist with RFIs, modifications, and change orders
Participate in pre-final and final inspections, and prepare punch-lists
Experience/
Education:
High School diploma or GED + 7 years of construction QA experience, or
Associate Degree + 5 years, or
Bachelor’s Degree + 3 years of relevant experience
Paving Inspector Certification required within 30 days
Experience with RMS 3.0, EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and federal projects preferred
Professional presentation, communication skills, and attention to detail required
