Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures for construction projects to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Establish quality control checkpoints and inspection criteria for all phases of construction activities.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify workmanship, materials, and compliance with quality standards.
Review contractor and subcontractor quality documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Quality Control:
Perform detailed inspections and tests on construction materials, equipment, and installations to verify conformance with approved designs and specifications.
Monitor construction processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and work with project teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of QA/QC inspections, tests, and audits.
Prepare quality reports, summaries, and documentation for project stakeholders, including progress reports and quality metrics.
Ensure all documentation complies with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
Provide guidance and training to construction teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Coordinate with third-party inspectors and testing agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and analyze QA/QC performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in QA/QC practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQE) may be advantageous.
Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in construction projects, preferably with knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical disciplines.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
Proficiency in quality control testing and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, etc.), and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software/tools.
