Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality control findings and recommend improvements.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control best practices and standards.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Act as a liaison between clients and project teams regarding quality concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality control or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
- Certifications in quality control (e.g., CQI, CQM) are a plus.
You should be proficient in:
- (USACE, VA, or GSA)
- CQM-C
- NAVFAC-specific training
