Construction Quality Control (QC) Manager

About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee and enforce quality standards across our construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring that all work meets design specifications, codes, and contractual requirements and historical restoration criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve all submittals for owner design team review and acceptance

Develop and implement site-specific QC plans

Work with team to develop submittals for self-performed construction elements

Coordinate and document all historical repair/replacement per standards

Provide daily report documentation including appropriate photo documentation

Conduct inspections, testing, and reporting

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors

Maintain documentation of compliance with project standards

Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

✔ 5+ years of QC or construction management experience (Federal or State projects a plus)

✔ Familiarity with USACE or NAVFAC QC standards (preferred)

✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills

✔ Certifications such as CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) highly desirable
