I am representing a leading client in renewable energy across Europe who is searching for a Site Manager Fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading German renewables companies as a Quality Manager overseeing the construction of solar photovoltaic site. Based near Munich the client is looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in the industry to lead the project alongside the construction team in 2025.
Responsibilities
Manage the construction phase of a 34 MW solar site, overseeing daily operations and progress.
Negotiate with suppliers and contractors on-site to secure favourable terms and agreements.
Support the development of project scope, review engineering drawings, and facilitate the preparation of purchase orders and subcontract requisitions.
Work closely with the construction manager to maintain project timelines and budget adherence.
Direct site engineers and subcontractors to ensure accurate installations and compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers and the Procurement team to coordinate and ensure the timely delivery of materials
Meeting with the quality team to ensure documentation and inspections are done correctly
Key Skills:
Previous experience with utility-scale solar PV plants.
A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is a plus.
+5 years experience in quality management.
