PeoItaly is hiring on behalf of a top-tier engineering and construction firm for a high-profile pharmaceutical construction project. We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and compliance efforts at the site. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality management plans for construction projects.
Establish and maintain the project quality system, including drafting new procedures and standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO 9001 standards.
Attend client and third-party audits, managing assessments and verifications.
Review and approve contractor quality plans, inspection, and test plans.
Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and audits.
Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformances.
Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
Ensure proper documentation management, particularly in contractor turnover dossiers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in construction quality management, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification required.
In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and quality control processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
Proficiency in quality management tools and software.
Fluent in English and Italian (preferably native Italian speaker).
Full-time on-site presence with occasional national and international travel.
