Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in automated testing, specifically using Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in writing test cases and scripts for automated testing.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with other automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience in performance testing and security testing.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
