Position: Consultant – Development Quality Assurance (HW)- Thales
We are hiring for a Consultant – Development Quality Assurance (HW) with one of our clients based in Montreal, QC.
Position Role/Tile:
Consultant – Development Quality Assurance (HW)
Is this an onsite role? Yes, Hybrid position: 3 days a week

JobDescription / Main responsibilities:
Work closely with the technical manager and the project team to meet the schedule and the expected level of quality
Ensure that the products developed are the result of appropriate, rigorous and structured processes
Conduct assessments and audits of technical development activities to evaluate compliance with applicable regulatory, industry and company standards
Review technical documentation for quality and compliance requirements
Produce and maintain objective evidence of assessment activities for client and regulatory review
Understand and apply aeronautical standards including but not limited to: RTCA/DO-254, RTCA/DO-178C RTCA/DO-297 and SAE ARP
4754A
Provide regular and comprehensive progress reports and data to management
Ensure quality records are maintained, measurements are collected and reports are provided to the company
Perform root cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions using appropriate procedures
Experience in engineering, complex electronic product development, quality or process assurance/compliance
Experience or knowledge of aerospace engineering and development standards (particularly do-254 compliance).
