Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Lead to oversee our quality processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, including ISO 9001 standards, and experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety within our organization.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a Quality Management System consistent with ISO 9001
Support all quality programs, ensure product compliance to all requirements and initiate continuous process/product improvement plans
Track/optimize customer satisfaction
Expedite quality assurance inspections to maximize production utilization
Track/measure non-conformance root cause/assign corrective action
Review new product designs for potential quality issues
Assist in quality management reviews
Monitor vendor performance/assist in qualifying new vendor capability
Develop/analyze statistical data for capability and process control
Provide training/awareness of quality initiatives, goals, procedures and philosophy
Track/reduce scrap and eliminate waste through improved processes/procedures
Responsible for providing accounting with the cost of scrap
Manages department resources
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
AS/BS with Technical Discipline
Math Skills/Statistics/Microsoft Office
Experience with ISO/QS/TS/AS Management System
Experience with CNC Machining
Experience with Manufacturing / Machining Metrology methods and tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
