Job Summary: Ace Computers is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Computer Burn-In Tester to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting rigorous stress tests on computer systems and components to ensure their reliability and stability. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of quality that Ace Computers is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Burn-In Tests: Perform stress tests on computer systems and components to identify potential failures and ensure reliability.
Monitor Test Results: Observe and record the performance of systems during tests, noting any failures or anomalies.
Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and diagnose problems that arise during testing, and work to resolve them.
Maintain Test Equipment: Ensure that all testing equipment is functioning correctly and is properly calibrated.
Document Findings: Keep detailed records of test procedures, results, and any corrective actions taken.
Collaborate with Engineers: Work with design and production engineers to improve product reliability based on test results.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Experience in testing and troubleshooting computer systems is preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with testing equipment and software.
