The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that Conductor Power meets the highest standards of quality and reliability on our projects. This role plays a critical part in overseeing quality assurance processes, best practices, and ensuring continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the performance and longevity of our organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility and oversight for quality aspects of the project, including management of all quality control personnel and reporting as required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develops and implements quality assurance strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of an overall corporate quality control program/manual.
Assist with the creation and training of SWI’s.
Establishes and follows quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle, including design, construction, commissioning, and operation phases.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, operations, and procurement, to address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
Analyzes data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management systems and recommend enhancements as needed.
Assesses and manages risks associated with quality issues, non-conformities, and compliance failures to minimize the impact on project timelines, costs, and reputation.
Provides guidance and training to project teams on quality management principles, procedures, and tools.
Perform inspections for all definable features of work, including safety and hazard identification.
Coordinates and implements Benchmark reviews with the site team and client representatives.
Coordinates with external stakeholders, such as suppliers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure quality requirements are met.
Monitors and evaluates customer feedback and satisfaction levels related to product quality and performance. Implements measures to address customer concerns and improve overall satisfaction with the company’s products and services.
Leads investigations into quality incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints, and implements preventive and corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Manages NCR process and communication needed to relative stakeholders.
Stays informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality management.
Contributes to research and development efforts aimed at advancing renewable energy technologies, improving product quality, and enhancing the overall competitiveness of the organization in the market.
Champion a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.
Compliance with safety protocols and procedures is essential to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on project sites.
Manages Quality Coordinators and Inspectors for required inspections.
Manages Job book generations and completion.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools, such as ISO standards, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
Professional certifications in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer) are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Primarily sedentary work when working in the office. Occasional lifting, carrying, walking, and standing; frequent hand/eye coordination to operate computer keyboard and office equipment; vision for reading, recording and interpreting information; speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and other team members.
When navigating a job site, the ability to move around project sites, which may involve walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain.
