MARBLE MONEY, a subsidiary of the REMARA Group, is currently seeking a Credit Analyst to join our Real Estate Credit division.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing residential and investment loan applications within your delegated credit authority. Your primary focus will be to evaluate applicants’ creditworthiness and their ability and willingness to meet their financial obligations.
This will involve a comprehensive review of each applicant’s financial history and current position, including analysis of income, liabilities, loan structure, proposed security, and overall alignment with our credit policies. You will ensure all applications comply with internal policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory and administrative requirements set by MARBLE MONEY and the wider REMARAGroup.
Key responsibilities
·        Conduct thorough assessments of loan applications submitted by individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
·        Apply a high level of due diligence by reviewing and analysing supporting documents, including financial statements, trust deeds, income verification, and identification, to determine credit suitability.
·        Prepare well-structured and comprehensive credit submissions for review and decision by the credit committee.
·        Collaborate effectively with fellow analysts, senior team members, and credit decision-makers to develop and refine application strategies.
·        Ensure adherence to credit policies and risk frameworks when making lending decisions and evaluating proposals.
·        Clearly communicate outcomes of credit assessments and contribute constructively to credit discussions and workshops.
·        Deliver a professional, responsive, and solution-oriented service experience to referral partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
·        Foster and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring positive outcomes for both clients and the business.
·        Respond promptly to stakeholder queries and general correspondence.
·        Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency or effectiveness.
·        Provide support across the division when required, including assessment of initial, reassigned, or follow-up applications.
·        Accurately enter and maintain loan data across internal systems and platforms.
·        Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities in support of the team’s objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
·        A qualification in a business-related field or relevant experience within banking or financial services is advantageous.
·        Prior exposure to credit or lending processes will be viewed favourably.
·        Proven ability to deliver exceptional service and maintain strong professional relationships.
·        Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
·        Strong organisational, administrative, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
·        High attention to detail, with a knack for spotting errors, inconsistencies, or irregularities in documentation or data.
·        Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
