POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for working in a group environment in supports the manufacturing operations by providing QC technical support in controlling the processes and assuring customer requirements are met. Performs major role in managing customer complaint, day-to-day problem solving, and helps to provide the PFMEA, control Plans for their responsible areas, support customer audit and conducts supplier audits

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCY:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other technical discipline.

2. Min. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in quality control/assurance, Product reliability, and laboratory test procedures.

3. Good knowledge about IATF 16949- Core tools as well as 14001.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

5. Team-oriented, flexible with strong leadership skills.

6. Structured method of operation, self-dependent with an ability to work well under pressure and given deadlines.

7. Independent, motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility.

8. Ensure daily tasks are performed in alignment with OHS&E practices and applicable standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and Automotive Quality Management System (IATF 16949)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Product capability parameters are maintained at their inherent design level during the pilot and production phases.

2. Manages the customer quality activities from design through launching of program and customer audit

3. Regularly audits on product and process to ensure conformance with product specifications and standards.

4. Developing, implementing, maintaining and improving IATF16949 quality system and ISO 14001, OSHA

5. Support audit for IATF 16949, conduct internal and supplier audit.

6. Confers with and works with engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems related to products’ designs, specifications, materials, tooling, and production operations affecting quality.

7. Assists product inspection/test and able to use measurement equipment tools (CMM, Caliper, Dial Gate, Dial Indicators and other measurement tools)

8. Performs failure analysis following the 8D guidelines

9. Coordinates PPAP submissions to customers

10. Maintain and keep working area to meet environmental requirements and regulation compliance.

11. Manage overall quality in case of absenteeism of Quality Manager.

12. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
