ASMO aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates. In the long term, all the industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia aim to reach the MENA region.

Objective

The role holder is responsible for developing and establishing quality assurance standards and measures for the Technology function within ASMO. The role is also responsible for monitoring and evaluating the information technology standards and compliance being used in the organization.

General Responsibilities

  • Design ASMO’s internal information security and governance programs.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
  • Manage ISMS reviews and implementation activities.
  • Perform quality assurance measures and testing of new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
  • Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established quality assurance standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation.
  • Create test plans and script that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
  • Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfil end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
  • Conduct change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
  • Conduct the maintenance of information security governance controls, addressing glitches, gaps, and malfunctions.
  • Interface with other Technology departments on quality assurance responsibilities and issues.
  • Research, recommend, manage, and participate in implementing any required IT standards, controls or policies and procedures.
  • Follow up with internal auditors and the other Technology departments on any internal or external audit observations raised and take corrective measures ensuring that they are closed properly.
  • Facilitate the ongoing review of cybersecurity technology designs and alignment to industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
  • Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
  • 5 years’ experience in the same Field.
