About The Role

The Data Analyst II plays a critical role within Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Products & Analytics team, primarily supporting the Automotive & Industrial (AAI) vertical. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations and customers, to transform complex supply chain data into impactful analytics products. The successful candidate will design and develop persona-based dashboards and analytical solutions using Ryder's modern data stack, including Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, and AI tools like Copilot. The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business decisions. As a domain expert in automotive and industrial supply chain operations, the Data Analyst II will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhance data maturity, and support innovative solutions that drive operational excellence and business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of applied experience in data management, digital transformation, or related environments
  • 2 to 4 years of experience creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across business functions
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for BI solutions development
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as Alteryx or SSIS and data manipulation using SQL
  • Exposure to object-oriented development stacks (.NET) is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business language
  • Experience working in cloud environments is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboards by understanding business needs, interpreting integrated data, and translating insights into visualizations that inform decision-making
  • Engage with business stakeholders to evaluate requirements, prioritize product development efforts, and create innovative analytical solutions
  • Leverage Ryder’s modern data stack to design scalable, reusable analytics products that address multiple use cases
  • Enhance data quality, standardization, and integration to improve overall data maturity and enable value-added functionality
  • Utilize AI tools daily to accelerate discovery, diagnose root causes, and synthesize signals for faster insights
  • Support product innovation by collaborating with technology teams throughout the build, testing, and deployment phases using agile methodologies
  • Maintain domain expertise in automotive and industrial supply chain operations to inform analytical strategies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and organizational growth
