About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data QA Lead to lead quality assurance activities across data projects and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data throughout the data lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead QA activities for data projects and enhancements
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans
• Perform both manual and automation testing
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across systems
• Test data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses
• Perform data validation using strong SQL skills
• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders
• Drive test automation and continuous quality improvements
Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Testing
• Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing
• Experience in test case and test plan creation and execution
• Strong knowledge of defect management and QA best practices
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses
• Strong SQL and data validation skills
• Hands-on exposure to one or more of the following:
- Snowflake
- Azure Data Services
- Apache Spark
- Power BI
- ETL/ELT tools
- • Experience working with data engineering teams and data projects
Nice to Have
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications
