We are seeking a skilled Data Quality Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing data quality frameworks and tools. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assessing and enhancing data quality across the organization, contributing to metadata management, root cause analysis, and the development of data quality strategies aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Populate and maintain metadata in the data catalog from diverse sources.
Assess and profile data to identify quality issues and improvement opportunities.
Conduct root cause analysis and define corrective actions with stakeholders.
Develop and implement a comprehensive data quality strategy and roadmap.
Establish and monitor data quality metrics, standards, and controls.
Design and automate processes for data validation, cleansing, and standardization.
Provide training and support on data quality tools and best practices.
Deliver data quality reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with teams to enrich metadata and ensure its accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Proven experience with data quality implementation and tools (preferably OvalEdge).
Strong SQL and database knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Proficient in data profiling, analysis, and root cause identification.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration concepts.
Understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK).
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Adaptability to new technologies and evolving data management practices.
This is a contract for 8 months
