xCelle Americas Engineer, Quality I – 17428
Description
The Quality Engineer role has duties and responsibilities related to the repair station’s quality assurance functions. This role involves working closely with various departments to identify and resolve quality issues, implement quality control systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer will be a key part of the feedback loop for CI. QC documentation feeds into QA’s periodic audits and training updates. Both functions work in tandem to address immediate issues and to refine policies and procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance with the Quality System, FAA, and EASA requirements as well as internal best practices and customer requirements.

Know and understand company / department policies and safety procedures.
Know and understand the Repair Station Manuals to ensure the quality system and its elements follow industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer requirements.
Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits and the associated processes.
Lead organizations personnel training activities and the associated processes.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to identify and resolve quality issues.
Other duties as needed or as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of experience preferred or 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and Internet software.
Detail oriented with a strong knowledge of quality system principles and practices.
Experience with quality management systems and standards.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
