Day Shift Quality Control Inspector Level I-III Jobs in Vancouver, WA at Concept Reality Inc.
A quality control (QC) inspector ensures that products and services meet quality standards and comply with regulations. They work with production to perform inspections, tests, and monitoring tasks to identify defects and potential issues. They also recommend solutions to improve quality, such as ensuring that machines are operating correctly or that materials meet client standards. QC inspectors may also coordinate with other teams to implement product solutions and maintain records of inspections.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical inspections using micrometers, height gages, calipers, etc.
- Operate a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).
- Interpret results from the CMM.
- Document Non-Conformances.
- Visual inspection for conformity to customer specifications.
- Utilize computers for documentation of inspection.
- Perform final inspections.
Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with computer. Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
- Working knowledge of mechanical blueprints. GD&T experience a plus.
- Basic math skills.
- Experience with inspection tools, CMM experience a plus but not required.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience with an AS9100 environment aa plus.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a machine shop environment.

*Pay rate is determined by experience.
