Job Description:
The Judicial Branch is a state-funded Branch of Government that offers medical/dental/vision, $20,000 free basic life insurance, state-matched 156% retirement plan, 13 paid holidays, earned paid vacation and sick leave, and more.

This classification level is responsible for conducting ongoing quality assurance reviews for various services rendered by Probation’s Registered Service Providers to foster improved service provision and a commitment to continuous quality improvement. Responsibilities may include assessing timeliness and accuracy of payments, performing on-site reviews of systems, grants and other designated services, document verification, and monitoring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

JOB DUTIES
1. Conducts financial review of services, processes financial vouchers for payments, makes adjustments as needed and recommends confirmation for payment under predetermined specifications.
2. Performs on-site reviews of Fee for Service Voucher system, grants and other designated services, to verify and document all elements affecting eligibility and payment, liability, or issuance amounts in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
3. Determines eligibility for financial assistance for adult clients. Determines dollar error amounts for non-eligibility over or under issuance. Troubleshoots, corrects production issues, and provides technical assistance to registered service providers and probation staff.
4. Maintains detailed records and evaluates information collected; prepares reports and correspondence and offers training to relay quality assurance processes and results to internal & external stakeholders as necessary.
5. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, business or public administration, behavioral sciences or a closely related field; 2 years of related experience.
All educational credits must be granted from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.
KNOWLEDGE
Continuous quality improvement, quality assurance & program evaluation principles.
Behavioral health systems and procedures.
Applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
Knowledge of Justice System.
Computers and applicable software applications.
SKILLS
Conducting legal research.
Data gathering and data analysis techniques for conducting quality control reviews.
Quality control review.
Maintaining records and files.
Operating computers and applicable software applications.
Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
