The Quality Control Associate will prioritize inspections, quality audits, and work needed to ensure location Protocols and Standards are met. The focus will be ensuring product is handled to the customer’s standards, reducing errors, and promoting continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit processes to ensure quality standards are being met and procedures are followed.
Inspect and repair damaged product.
Maintain appropriate records.
Conduct refresher training as required.
Process out-of-specification material as directed.
Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization.
Inform QA Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections.
Verifies action is taken to resolve defects.
Participate in location inventories.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE

Capable of basic math calculations
General knowledge of computers
Previous quality assurance role
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

ABILITIES

Able to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as needed
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
Able to use standard measuring equipment

ATTITUDES

Self motivated
Maintains neat/organized work area and documentation
Strong attention to detail
