Our client, a leading packaging company specializing in corrugated products, is looking for a highly motivated Director, Quality Assurance to head their Quality department. Following a successful year of growth and expansion, our client is poised to further enhance their quality standards and customer satisfaction.
The Director, Quality Assurance will manage the entire Quality department (QA, QC), including but not limited to Senior Managers, Managers, Supervisors, and Engineers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed the highest industry standards for quality and reliability.
The Director, Quality Assurance will:
Manage a team of 5 direct reports with built out teams beneath them
Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive quality assurance testing plans
Analyze test results and work with product development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain quality standards for external components or services
Drive maintenance of accurate batch review records & activities, including test results, inspections, and audits
Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations
The Director, Quality Assurance has the following qualifications:
B.S. with 14+ years of industry experience, or MS with 10+ years of quality control experience
Experience working in highly regulated packaging or manufacturing industries (required)
Direct people management/leadership experience
