Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the IS Lead, the IS QA/QC Representative supports the development, implementation, and assessment of inspection-related APSC processes, procedures, forms, and applications to ensure compliance. This is an urban 40 hour position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the IS Lead, the IS QA/QC Representative assists with the development, implementation and evaluation of inspection-related APSC processes, procedures, forms, and applications that ensure compliance.
Assists with contract and quality program compliance by coordinating with the 3 rd party inspection contractor to access records and coordinate site visits.
Assists with oversight of inspection activities performed by the 3rd party inspection contractor through various reviews, assessments, & subsequent approvals (including, but not limited to, applicable procedures, field inspection proficiency reviews, safety, operator qualification (OQ), Inspection Plans, estimates, budgets, inspection records, & notification of unsatisfactory conditions).
The QA/QC Rep reviews and approves inspector/technician certification packages and Visual Acuity Records (VARs), verifying they are compliant with codes/standards and APSC requirements.
Reviews and approves APSC process documentation such as Visitor/Temporary Badging, Fleet Fuel Account, IT requests, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):
Mandatory Requirements
Reading comprehension skills and ability to research and cross-reference inspection records against various internal and external requirements.
Over 5 years of experience within the inspection industry; preferably in oil and gas.
Holds or has held multiple inspection certifications under nationally recognized organizations such as; ASNT, AWS, API, AMPP, NFPA, etc.
Higher understanding of inspection code and regulatory requirements for the transportation and storage of oil and gas.
Advanced written and verbal communications skills.
Current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or ability to obtain one.
Current Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, medical and drug screening.
Preferred Requirements
Experience with radiographic film interpretation (certified CRI or ASNT RT II).
Over 5 years of experience within the inspection industry; preferably in oil and gas.
Experience performing quality audits.
Use of Personal Computer-based office software such as Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, or similar.
