Director of Quality Assurance (Beverages) Jobs in Hilo, HI at HEN, LLC
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform milling, grinding, weighing, and preparation of samples for further grain quality tests.
Prepare chemical buffers and aliquots according to GMP guidelines
Monitor quality assurance parameters and take corrective action when required
Maintain and operate liquid handlers and automated lab equipment.
Laboratory processes and instrumentation with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems
Document sample flow. Troubleshoot processes where necessary
Strong background with structured repetitive work
Other duties as assigned.
Adheres to established practices with precision and efficiency
On-site work required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Life Sciences background (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
Ability to diagnose problems utilizing a variety of tools including inquiries, observations, system schematics and documentation, software tools, and communications/electrical diagnostic tools
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
