With a focus on utility-scale solar PV, wind, and energy storage projects, it manages a diversified portfolio spanning multiple countries.

We’re supporting an international clean energy business as they expand their renewable energy portfolio across Europe and are seeking an experienced Quality leader to shape and enhance quality processes across utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

This position combines strategic oversight with operational delivery, taking ownership of quality standards across the full project and supplier lifecycle, from sourcing and manufacturing through to commissioning and long-term asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a group-wide quality assurance strategy across renewable energy technologies
  • Manage supplier assessment, qualification, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Carry out technical evaluations of equipment, suppliers, and emerging technologies
  • Coordinate factory inspections, supplier audits, and manufacturing quality activities internationally
  • Ensure adherence to relevant international standards and safety regulations
  • Introduce quality metrics, reporting structures, and continuous improvement processes across project phases
  • Support investigations into technical issues, warranty claims, and corrective actions
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, delivery, and operations teams across multiple regions
  • Promote a strong culture of quality and compliance throughout the organisation

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience within quality management in renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, or energy storage environments
  • Strong understanding of supplier quality processes, manufacturing oversight, and technical compliance
  • Familiarity with international quality and safety standards relevant to energy technologies
  • Degree-qualified in an engineering or technical discipline
  • Comfortable working across international teams and stakeholders
  • Open to regular travel across Europe and manufacturing locations globally
