Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager located in Sterling, VA. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for supervising the production process to make sure that all products meet consistent standards Their duties include developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages and writing reports documenting production issues.
Other duties include:
Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
Minimum Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and other technical drawings
· Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with at least 3 years of quality assurance experience
· Exceptional work ethic, can-do attitude and team player
· Able to work independently with minimal instruction/supervision and effectively plan, organize and execute their own activities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
