Document Control and Training Specialist Jobs in Chicago, Illinois, USA at Premier Logitech
Premier Logitech is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Document Control and Training Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing documentation and providing training to ensure compliance with ISO
9001 standards. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining quality management systems and fostering continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain all documentation related to ISO
9001 certification, including policies, procedures, manuals, and records.
Ensure that all documents are current, accurately filed, and accessible to relevant personnel.
Create and provide training to ensure employees comply with ISO
9001 standards and company requirements.
Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to procedures, work instructions and ISO
9001 standards.
Assist in the preparation for external audits and certification renewals as needed.
Monitor changes in procedures, work instructions, etc. and update documentation and training materials accordingly.
Organize, categorize, and maintain both physical and digital documents, including technical specifications, contracts, work instructions, training records, reports, and other relevant materials.
Oversee and administer document lifecycle management.
Arrange and conduct preliminary training for employees.
Provide coaching and training to employees who do not meet quality or productivity standards and provide follow-up for refresher training if necessary.
Collaborate with Managers and Supervisors to create or update Work Instructions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and streamlining of document control and training activities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control and/or training within an ISO
9001 certified company.
Strong knowledge of ISO
9001 standards and quality management systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese preferred
Physical Requirements (
with or without accommodation):
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to walk and stand in production floor operations for extended periods.
Ability to periodically perform work in non-climate-controlled areas.
Must be able to stand, sit, walk, pull, and bend 100% of the day on a continuous basis.
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
