ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Document Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organisation’s documents are managed and controlled effectively. You will be responsible for organising, maintaining, and distributing all types of documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports, among others.
Your primary duties will include reviewing, updating, and tracking document revisions, ensuring that documents are appropriately classified, and managing access and distribution of sensitive information.
Duties & Responsibilities
Review contract documents and compile a register of non-building deliverables, including quality assurance check sheets, test results, third-party inspection results, samples, warranties, guarantees, and other documents
Set up and support the project team with document management systems such as Aconex, Procore, SharePoint
Manage and organise high volumes of drawings, specifications, consents and reports, ensuring accurate version control and traceability
Track, follow up, and obtain required non-building deliverables, maintaining records within the document management system and preparing all documentation for handover
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely document flow and compliance with project requirements
Prepare and submit applications for Certificate of Public Use (CPU), Code Compliance Certificate (CCC), and Practical Completion (PC)
Requirements
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in managing document versions, tracking changes, and ensuring document completeness and quality
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments to ensure document control processes are aligned with organisational goals and objectives
Experience in document control or a related field, including knowledge of document control processes, standards, and best practices
