The Opportunity
Documentation Officer is mainly responsible to provide adequate support for capturing, managing and disseminating quality reporting and documentation of learning, challenges, good practices and impact of project under Child Protection and Child Rights Governance sector complying with Save the Children International (SCI) standards and procedures.
One of the focused areas for documentation will be case management where this person will provide systemic efforts to develop a case management data base and ensure effective documentation of case management data and maintain proper coordination to ensure data driven decisions for the best interest of children.
Qualifications And Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience and knowledge in Documentation, reporting, data collection and management, and information systems within development or humanitarian programs.
- Hands-on experience with mobile data collection (e.g., Kobo/ODK), data visualization (Power BI/Tableau)
- Database/spreadsheet management (Excel, Access; SQL is an advantage).
- Proven working experience in child protection, child labour or case management project.
- Experience in preparing donor report and communication materials
- Basic knowledge and experience in child rights and Child Protection programming.
- Familiarity with data quality assurance, safeguarding and ethical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with log frames, indicators, FRM, program management cycle etc.
- Bachelor-Degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics Information Management or a related field.
