The Role
As an E-commerce QA Specialist, you will act as the sole authority and anchor for our quality assurance domain, taking full ownership of our web platforms from end to end. In this high-impact position, you will protect the user experience, safeguard complex purchase funnels, and ensure high-standard system stability before every production release. Working closely with our engineering team, your sharp eye for detail will directly influence product excellence and operational flow.
Description
- Own the entire QA lifecycle independently, managing test planning, execution, and release sign-offs for all web platforms.
- Execute comprehensive web functional testing, focusing heavily on continuous system stability and user interface validation.
- Conduct rigorous end-to-end testing on complex e-commerce transactional flows, checkout mechanisms, and payment gateways.
- Validate integrations, data accuracy, and field mapping between frontend interfaces and backend CRM infrastructure.
- Partner closely with the development team to identify, isolate, and track bugs while actively driving system improvements.
- Establish and refine QA methodologies by building structured checklists and streamlining existing testing workflows.
- Champion the end-user perspective by identifying design edge cases, formatting errors, and subtle UX flaws before code reaches production.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven professional experience as a Web QA Specialist.
- Hands-on, practical expertise working directly with the Shopify platform.
- Deep understanding of user experience principles and a sharp eye for granular design and interface details.
- Demonstrated capability to operate effectively as a sole QA function with high autonomy and self-learning skills.
- Proven ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities within tight, dynamic timelines.
- Experience testing complex e-commerce purchase funnels and payment clearing systems – advantage.
- Practical experience working with CRM system integrations and data validation – advantage.
