Electrical Engineer – REMOTE OPTIONAL
What are we looking for?
The Electrical Engineer/ Quality Manager is responsible for performing quality compliance evaluations, on and off site, per ISO standards.
Shift/Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm daily with occasional overtime hours

What you’ll do:
Under the guidance of the operations manager, conduct on and off-site evaluation of products to determine compliance with applicable standard(s).
Read and determine applicability of international and applicable technical regulations and standards.
Evaluate compliance of products according to technical regulation of client government.
Complete preliminary design reviews (PDR) both on and off site.
Compile evaluation information during compliance assessment.
Communicate evaluation review to client, sales personnel, and management throughout evaluation. Provide on-going support to clients as needed.
Perform other work as required.
Perform factory audits according to GTS standard requirements.
Maintain quality records according to ISO
9001, ISO
17020, and ISO
17065.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Quality assurance experience preferred.
Some knowledge of ISO quality management systems.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Microsoft Office expertise.
Ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 25%.
Preferred Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
