Join our dynamic team as an Electrical QA/QC Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across our electrical construction projects. In this energetic position, you will oversee quality control processes, interpret technical drawings, and enforce compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Your expertise will help deliver reliable, compliant electrical systems that meet project specifications and regulatory standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality assurance initiatives on construction sites, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold excellence in every phase of electrical installation. All positions are currently 1099 only with a possibility to swap over to a W2 employee in the future.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and structural components to verify adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Review construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper implementation of electrical systems in accordance with building codes such as electrical, mechanical, structural, and energy codes.
- Manage quality control documentation including inspection reports, compliance checklists, and data collection logs to track project progress and quality metrics.
- Enforce construction regulatory compliance by interpreting plumbing building codes, energy building codes, federal safety regulations, and construction regulations relevant to electrical work.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to develop and implement quality assurance plans that align with project deadlines and budgets.
- Lead quality inspections during various phases of construction to identify issues early and recommend corrective actions promptly.
- Utilize construction management software to document findings, track issues, and communicate effectively across teams for continuous improvement.
- Train and guide site personnel on quality control procedures, safety protocols, and technical standards related to electrical systems.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site inspection or quality assurance within electrical or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software tools used for data collection, reporting, and project tracking.
- Familiarity with energy building codes essential for comprehensive quality oversight.
- Hands-on experience interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for electrical installations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage quality compliance management processes while adhering to federal construction safety regulations.
- Excellent analysis skills for identifying potential issues in construction plans or onsite work practices before they impact project delivery.
- Leadership experience in guiding teams through complex inspection procedures while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Solid understanding of contracts related to construction projects along with the ability to ensure all work complies with contractual specifications.
- Data center experience is a plus

Pay: $50.00 – $80.00 per hour
