MTM Engineering is excited to offer a number of opportunities for Electrical QA/QC team members from mid to Lead level to join our expanding team. We have requirements on a number of sites across Europe, where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality control for our cable installation processes. Work will be on a rotation basis, with 3 weeks on site and 1 week at home.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of MTM’s cable installations, terminations, and glandings for LV and MV cables to ensure quality and compliance.
Maintain detailed inspection records using the bespoke MTM APP and BIM platforms, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Collaborate with clients and electrical contractors to submit QA inspection records on time, in line with yellow tag dates.
Resolve any equipment-related queries with both the MTM team and the client that may impact project progress.
Work alongside the QA and construction teams to implement corrective and preventative actions based on snag lists from the MTM bespoke QA app system.
Communicate best practices, mock-ups, and first-of-kind installations to the construction team, ensuring consistency in quality across all stages.
Assist in the completion of monthly and weekly QA audits and toolbox talks as required.
Manage email and phone communications efficiently to ensure smooth project operations.
Track QA activities to completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deadlines.
Essential Criteria:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar Electrical QC role.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings.
Ability to support, lead, and motivate team members to achieve high-quality outcomes.
