Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in modern test automation tools and frameworks, and capable of working collaboratively in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing.
Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data for manual and automated tests.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure coverage and quality.
Identify, record, and track bugs and issues through resolution.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and coverage.
Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups in Agile/Scrum teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of REST API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Working experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave.
Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
Exposure to cloud testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 – $70.00 per hour
