Key Responsibilities:

Inspect QC at Time of Packing:

Monitor the packing line to inspect cherries for quality, appearance, and adherence to standards.
Conduct visual inspections of packed cherries to identify any defects, bruising, or other issues.
Remove any substandard or damaged cherries from the line to maintain product quality.
Ensure that cherries are packed according to specifications and customer requirements.

Inspect QC at Beginning of Sort:

Perform initial quality control inspections at the beginning of the sorting process.
Examine cherries as they enter the sorting line to identify any defects or abnormalities.
Communicate any quality issues or concerns to the sorting team to facilitate corrective actions.
Verify that the sorting equipment is functioning properly and set up correctly for optimal performance.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of QC inspections, including documenting any deviations from quality standards.
Generate reports summarizing inspection findings and trends for analysis and review.
Communicate QC results and observations to relevant personnel to facilitate continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in quality control or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough inspections.
Knowledge of cherry grading standards and quality parameters.
Excellent observational and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing production requirements.
