The Quality Control Technician position is responsible for performing sampling of raw materials in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsible for subcontract preparation, shipment, and maintenance of raw material retains and test samples.
Shift: Monday- Friday 10am- 6pm
Salary: $20 per hour
Skills/Requirements:
Performs sampling of raw materials including customer-supplied products.
Performs routine testing on raw materials, in process sample, and finished products, ensuring they meet established specifications.
Perform release testing for color, appearance, and pH. Perform ID testing through the use of the FTIR.
Ensure sampling is performed accurately and in compliance with GLP and GMP.
Ensure the safety of product collection to the SDS or other safety material provided.
Knowledge of PPE is required for sampling.
Promote GMP and safety through the facility.
Promote continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Participate in other activities as assigned by Quality Control Management.
Knowledge of quality assurance/control methods, GDP, principles, and practices.
Knowledge of the relationship of quality control to other activities such as Laboratory, Production, and Purchasing.
