Job Description: As the Engineering and Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes. You will play a key role in developing and implementing quality control systems, managing engineering projects, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the engineering team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in engineering and quality management roles.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Salary Range Transparency:
Salt Lake City, UT $130,000.00–$180,000.00 Annually
Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
