Entry-level Quality Engineer Jobs in Cincinnati, OH at Cognizant
Canton Racing Products has been a manufacturer and distributor of a variety of aftermarket engine accessories for over 40 years. We have a solid reputation for building quality products and providing our customers with quality service. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the quality of our products from initial research and development to final production. The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with manufacturing processes, an eye for detail, and a passion for problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
Perform final inspection to ensure products meet requirements and expectations
Create and Maintain quality check documents for current and new products
Inspect incoming materials and products against spec sheets
Troubleshoot product non-conforming issues
Evaluate returns and warranty claims
Product Development
Create new product specifications , drawings and prototypes
Improve existing products through design and process enhancements
Update sales information, packaging and documentation as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Sheet metal fabrication knowledge a big plus
Understanding of quality control principles and methods
Able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, AutoCAD a plus
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Capable of time management, including prioritizing and multi-tasking
This position is an in person, full-time (40 hour per week), Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Our benefits package includes health, dental, life and short term disability insurances.
